A Subasta thank you!
Thank you to all of those who supported and attended Subasta on May 21st to raise funds for the Amity Program!
Because of the support of our community at Subasta ($45,000!) and from contributions during the year, we've been able to raise $56,000! Our goal is to help fund the program for the next two years, which costs approximately $70,000 and we're well on our way! We have $14,000 left to raise to fully fund the program for the next two years! Click here to donate to help fill this gap!
It was fun to be back together again with a lot of laughs, dancing and supporting such a great cause helping Buena Vista students. The Amity Interns have forever impacted the lives of BV students, teachers, families and the community!
Thank you SO much to everyone who raised their paddles at the event, purchased an auction item or a raffle ticket. Every dollar counts!
Because of this generosity, Buena Vista Spanish Immersion Elementary will continue to have the unique opportunity to have bilingual Amity interns from all around the world in the classroom – giving students a broader, richer understanding of the world and also improving the teacher/student ratio in the classroom!
